Cancer is an emotionally-charged word and illness. It can be a difficult thing to suffer from cancer, and just as difficult if a relative or work colleague falls ill. Some people choose not to say they have cancer while others gain strength from those around them. Through our work with the Swedish Cancer Society we want to reduce the mystery surrounding the disease, support research and work towards to a healthier lifestyle. About Cancer Society The Swedish Cancer Society is a non-profit organisa-tion with three main aims: to support and coordinate cancer research, to inform the public about cancer and to provide support for developing new means of caring for cancer patients.
